"Health for All!" is a an education for development project – running for three years, from December 2009 to November 2012. Its aim is to contribute to achieving Millennium Development Goals nos. 4, 5 and 6: reduce child mortality, improve maternal health, combat HIV/AIDS and other diseases by 2015.


The project involves a network of Italian NGOs and envisages advocacy and media activities, the launch of a web campaign, awareness-building events and the dissemination of thematic documents to increase Italian development aid in the healthcare field in favour of poorer countries.

One of the most captivating initiatives is the Health heroes campaign. Who are the health heroes? How do you recognize them? Where do they operate?
