A teaching and training project designed to offer participants the tools to learn about and analyse Global health, i.e. a form of health increasingly “without borders and barriers”. This is the course on Global health and equity in health and is available on line.

The course, lasting approximately 9 hours, is chiefly addressed to students from the faculty of Medicine (future doctors, nurses, etc) and other faculties that deal with health and the right to health (Law, Politics, Economics, Sociology etc) to various degrees and from various standpoints.

The course is also addressed to all those who, for reasons related to study, work, cultural or political interests, or who belong to non governmental and voluntary organizations, intend to investigate the subjects of global health in a rapidly changing world.

This course has been drawn up by the Department of Public Health of Florence University, within the framework of the project, "Equal opportunities for health: action for development", developed by Doctors with Africa Cuamm, with the support of the European Union. It was subsequently extended (modules 5, 6 and 7) with the contribution of the Regional Government of Tuscany, in the framework of the Regional Initiative Project (PIR).
