"It may even happen tonight. When the sun sets, malaria strikes, particularly in the poorest countries.”

This is the slogan of the European project, “Stop Malaria Now!”, in which Doctors with Africa CUAMM is a partner together with 9 other non-governmental organizations from Germany, Italy, Kenya, Poland and Spain.

The aim is to mobilize public opinion and politicians in Europe to adopt concrete measures to guarantee prevention and access to diagnosis and treatment.

Among the various activities, Italy has been directly involved in Art against malaria, an informative, itinerant exhibition which arrived in Padua in September 2011: a relay race from city to city and town to town to provide information on malaria and join more and more voices to call out in unison, STOP MALARIA NOW!
